It depends on your negotiated reciprocal jumpseat agreement with them...
If you go to the AA gate and they say your airline is D6L then you are Limited (typically no more than two D6L offline jumpseaters allowed on board). If you are just D6... or D6U... then you are Unlimited.
I'm not sure what Colgan is... Seggy probably knows.

Not sure about Colgan, but we've had the following jumpseaters in my (almost) 1.5 years with AMR (American Eagle):

Not that they can't fly the JS on an AMR (American or American Eagle) flight, but I just haven't had any jumpseaters on the flights that I've flown.
I think it's pretty much open.
I can tell you that some American captains have refused to let American Eagle pilots jumpseat on their planes (this after AE GAVE captain jobs to over 400 of their First Officers after 9/11....but I digress)....because the old school American guys still hate Eagle.
Doesn't happen all the time, but it does still happen.

Thanks for the info. The last few times coming out of MSP have been kind of sketchy so I'm kinda trying to come up with plan B and C for my commute. Chicago seemed like a descent way to go because United, American, and Continental all fly to IAH from there. Denver seemed to work out for me today as well. We really need a commuter clause at Colgan.
Have plans A thru E for the commute.
I've always commuted, except for about a year of my career thus far. When things get crappy, things REALLY get crappy and you have to think on your feet.
This is kind of how I roll during the commute:

I'll keep a copy of that in my bag. Obviously I can pre=book the jumpseat on Delta days in advance, but if the flight looks like it's going to cancel, I know I have a USAirways flight to look at and a JetBlue flight as well. Of course, unless you guys haven't gotten me kicked off their jumpseat!
If DL, B6 and US don't work, my next bet are the connecting flights:
If that doesn't work, there are always EWR or LGA with a cab ride.

There is a bus that goes straight from EWR to JFK and vice versa, for $22. Takes an hour.
Yeah, I definately second the question on where to easily look up all that flight information. Basically this is an out there question, but I'm looking at how easy it would be to non-rev between ANC and either BOS or MCO at some point in the future (I mean, I need the job first, but that should be pretty soon.....) It's not a commute situation (THAT would be a nightmare) fortunately, just trips out to see the fam.

My thoughts exactly. We had a guy who worked for them and wanted a ride home from STL. I guess the price of the ticket to CMH was less than a ticket to CLT so he didn't want to pay the difference and tried to get a free ride with us.

Great tool, but MEM isn't active on there anymore. Also, not sure if DTW is available, but that would be a good one to add on, especially with PCL doing a lot of hiring and new hires going to DTW. MSP is there, though.
Kinda bummed that OAG doesn't have MEM on the list anymore. Happens right about the time I might have to use it, too. I DID look at the commutes from MCO, and they really don't look that bad. Plenty of flights on some decent size (and by decent size I mean like 757s and 767s) aircraft. I didn't know Spirit had a MCO-ATL non-stop, either.
One option they leave off that site is FedEx, though. FedEx ALPA has a "jumpseat finder" website to help you commute on them, though.

Do the search in reverse. In other words... select the airport you want to fly to from MEM (let's say DTW), then type timetables.oag.com/dtw in the URL, and then select "Flights to DTW" and type in MEM under airport code. Works like a charm!

Um....DFW, yeah. I don't see DTW as an option on the menu, though....
That's why I was suggesting adding DTW to the menu under the "commuter timetables" section. There's a workaround to get to the DTW page, but you kinda have to know how to do it.

Don't use the menu... just type it in the URL! The menu that Doug has is just examples that he created.
Try just changing the airport code in the url... I think you'll like it! I use it all the time for DAL, SAT, & ONT flights...
