I've not heard good things about working there recently, regarding management and general morale.

Also, this is a salaried position with shift-work-type hours. The salaries are good (negotiable), but expect to work unpaid overtime (especially during peak) and take on work other than just working the coordinator desk.

Unpaid overtime should be illegal.

If this is anything like working logistics in other areas of Amazon I would be cautious. No pay raises as your career progresses like at a union shop or other carriers, so your basically stuck making what your hired into. Depending on what level this is, upward mobility can be very hard (level 4 to 5). Things could have changed within the last year that I was there (not in this job) but I doubt it. Health care is excellent though.

I'm genuinely serious when I say: Oh, Amazon has a 121 certificate now? Wow!

I'd thought their Prime Air operations were contracted out through Atlas, Sun Country, and the odd DHL one-off here and there. Good for them.

Salaried is salaried. Unpaid OT is only illegal for hourly employees.
interestingly enough, dx will work hourly schedules but still be on salary. If you arent 5-2, it ends up somehow being more than a regular office salary gig. So I look at it as you have "OT" covered by working shorter weeks. (ex. 4 days on- 4 days off instead of 5 days on- 2 days off)

This is still the case as far as I know. For this job it sounds like you would be a liason for Amazon to those contracted airlines. Calling them up to ask about taxi times and such. Not my cup of tea but good luck to those who apply.

I always figured it was more like a major airline's regional coordinator position in charge of their connection/express operation in chasing times, coding delays and telling when to delay/cancel/create flights. Did everyone get a random message on LinkedIn for them?

They do not have their own certificate. Everything is still contracted out. This isn't a Dispatch position.
