Amazing Pan Am Video!

Wonderful videos. Thanks for posting them. Those were the glory days. Captain Abrahamsen began his commerical career on the wonderful Pan Am 314, one of my fave aircraft. He also flew the historic first round the world flight for Pan Am in 1947 - New York to San Francisco via Calcutta on the Super Constellation.

Five months after the Spirit of St. Louis flew to Paris, a Fokker F-7 headed out over the waters south of Florida and thus began America's first scheduled international airline.....Pan American Airways. The history of aviation never ceases to thrill and amaze me.
 
Why doesn't the FO have frosted hair tips and an iPod? And what's up with the jackets AND hats? That's crazy, I tell you!
 
Very cool, thanks for posting that. Back when 747s had "a hump so the captains can fit their wallets in it".
