Altitude Chamber

Our flight department is looking for an altitude chamber to do some training....we are southeast based. Any recommendations?

Only one I know of that allows civilians is at Shaw AFB in SC. That’s where I did high altitude training.

I did it at Beale, but I don't think they do it anymore.

There is one at Fort Rucker at the Aviation Medicine HQ.

Puts you about an hour and a half from Montgomery or Destin, but you can fly into Dothan from Atlanta. Limited number of seats per day though.

When I was working at the FAA headquarters in OKC, I was told that they have one that is available for any licensed pilot. One just needs to make an appointment. Don't have any other details than that.
