Almost in print. The new AFH

Ok, forgot to post this, been busy for a couple days.

Anyhow, the new version of the Airplane Flying Handbook is almost in print. You can currently find most of it (can't find the table of contents) HERE

Follows along the lines of the recent PHAK update. A little easier to read, not so government-speakish as the old version. Pictures are a little nicer as well, and not just all 70s looking drawings.

There's also a new instrument book ... Instrumet Procedures Handbook I believe ... should be showing up on shelves shortly. I believe there was a thread about here a few months back.

Yeah. Have that one linked from my site, since it is in the final PDF version. I see the new IPH is now listed on the Marv Golden site for sale, so I assume it is out. They say 3-4 weeks for the printed version of the new AFH, which seems about right since the PDF files don't seem 100% complete. About time these books look a little more up to date. Have a hard time trying to convince students they are good books since they look(ed) so old.

Me too, about a month ago.... wonder how much about flying has really changed /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

Thanks for the inf.
This is great, now I can carry those books in my labtop. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
