They should have dumped fuel in the Chicago River. That might have cleaned it up a bit.
 
That thing's engines are enormous. I would think that it could ingest an ERJ and keep running, let alone a bird.

Here's something kinda funny.

The 777 engines on the -200 are supposedly around 7,000 pounds of thrust at idle.

The engines on an ERJ are rated to about 7,000 pounds of thrust.

Anyone who flies an ERJ need not worry too much about blasting someone behind them that isn't too close, since even a FULL thrust crossbleed start would not surpass the idle thrust of a B-777-200 engine.

Basically, the ERJ is a toy airliner and the 777 is the :cool:.
