Alaska Hawaiian Merger

Last bid was a reduction and there were 3 proffered PIC positions made available, due to voluntary downgrades. The most junior of these positions was awarded to a 13 year pilot.

I doubt this one will be any different.
Weird that a position bid with upgrades for less than .1% of the pilot group went senior.
 
From the cheap (right) seats, I do welcome this. Wont equate to much movement, but it is better than the backward slide in relative seniority I've had in the last year, I guess as they brought the FOFIs back to the line? Which also wasn't a huge movement, but a couple % anyway

Having listen to the all pilot call, hiring was described as "lightly penciled in." Which is comical considering anything they say is.

It’s gonna be a rough year. Those 30 “penciled” newhires look unlikely.
