Some good news today, new bid out with 20 upgrade vacancies (ANC -4, PDX - 6, SEA -10). <<personal attack>>
To his point, I think these will go uber senior. Still good news all around.
Weird that a position bid with upgrades for less than .1% of the pilot group went senior.Last bid was a reduction and there were 3 proffered PIC positions made available, due to voluntary downgrades. The most junior of these positions was awarded to a 13 year pilot.
I doubt this one will be any different.
From the cheap (right) seats, I do welcome this. Wont equate to much movement, but it is better than the backward slide in relative seniority I've had in the last year, I guess as they brought the FOFIs back to the line? Which also wasn't a huge movement, but a couple % anyway
How did downgrades add to that when those positions were filled by current FOs?Downgrades added to that as well
Downgrades added to that as well

Yep, good point (I didn't notice if those were SEA but that checks)
No, but it will go more junior than the last one and that trend should continue.Think this one will go super junior?
(lol)
Having listen to the all pilot call, hiring was described as "lightly penciled in." Which is comical considering anything they say is.
It’s gonna be a rough year. Those 30 “penciled” newhires look unlikely.
