Alaska Hawaiian Merger Serious Version

Who’s looking forward to some fun with the uniform rollout in a couple days? I’ll be the one looking like a creeper rocking the trench coat.

I keep looking at that box thinking I should open it and see what is in there. And every day I don't. It's close to crunch time, but I don't fly until mid next month since I was able to bid the first 12 days off. I think I can get it turned between now and then if I need tailoring. It's weird you can't order replacements until the first day of actively wearing the thing though. And I have no recollection of the jacket I ordered. I think it was the transition. The trench coat was super creepy. But if you are trying to go to Alaska I get it

When I started at SkyWest they gave us the choice between the leather jacket $500 or a trench coat $120. So I chose the trench coat because I had no money. That thing is legit. It was soooo good for walk arounds in the driving rain in Ketchikan or -30C in Fairbanks. There is a cool removable insulated liner that works really well. Only my feet would be wet when I got back from sideways rain walk arounds and my legs stayed warm in Fairbanks when it was -30C. I know I looked like a creeper but I didn't care.

Now I have bags of money so I'll probably get the leather jacket.

Well maybe just use one bag of money for that. Save the rest. Or invest in BA :)

Where do the NATO, submarine commander, elbow pad, epaulet sweaters fit into the timeline?

I've never tried one. I don't like synthetic sweaters. I've never seen a real wool option. At this point I don't really care what I look like or what other pilots look like. It's tiresome to even think about it.

There was no investor call. Just a brief Q&A. Fleet plan is TBD based on Boeings ability to get their act together.
