Airspace Overlay on Google Earth

Does anyone know a good site where you can download an overlay of airspace to use on Google Earth?

When I Google it, the first link that comes up has an outdated Bravo layout for PHX. I really like the TAC overlay which I can use on my MacBook Pro, but I cannot use it on my work computer (too slow). I'm just looking for a basic series of gray circles that shows you where the Bravo airspace is. Thanks a lot!

Runwayfinder and Skyvector are good, but I actually need to download a KML file to use for Google Earth. The reason is I have a code that generates flight paths on the program Google Earth, and I need to be able to visually see where these flight paths fall in relation to airspace.

Does anyone know where I can find an airspace overlay download that can be loaded into Google Earth?

I built a .KML of the MSP Class B and satellite Class D about three years ago just as an exercise to learn more about it.

No idea how up to date the above link is though.

There used to be a DAFIF overlay server for GE that would display airspace in three dimensions, not sure if it's still around anymore.

I knew a guy who was working on this years ago. It was pretty cool. I don't know what came of it, though.

The above link was the only one I could find. It's pretty good, but it is not up to date, thus the problem. Still looking for an up to date one.

Just wondering, how long did it take you to build that model of the MSP Class B? I would be interested in building one for PHX since this will help me out tremendously. I've never built a KML file from scratch. How involved is it?

Thanks!

Building one from scratch was a bear. I'd never messed around with KML before either, but used to do some light weight programming.

It's like any other language, once you understand the syntax it goes much faster. The harder part was that my math skills were/are pretty weak, so describing and converting radii to lat/long wasn't pretty. Circles were ok, but weird shaped slices got the better of me.

The easiest thing to do, IMHO, is take the above file and update the area you're interested in. All the heavy lifting has been done so it'll just be a matter of tweaking your local area to bring it up to date.

The 3-D representation of airspace in Google Earth is pretty cool. I was going to use it as a teaching tool to help folks visualize what was happening around them but never quite got there.
