Airports with GA hangars around Corpus Christi?

I'm moving down to the Corpus Christi, TX, area in a few months and am kind of looking around for an airport that has hangars for sale or lease for when I buy an airplane. I called around at CRP and was shocked to hear that they don't have any private GA hangars. The only hangars are owned by Signature and Atlantic. Then I looked at other airports around the area and didn't really see much in the way of airports that have hangar space.

Am I missing something here? Or is there just that little GA flying going on that I won't be finding anything?
 
I am currently on a waiting list for a hangar (Not in Corpus Christi). There have been 3 hangars open up in the last 7 years, and more than 100 names on the list. It is sad, but many smaller municipal airports have the same types of lists.
 
I have never, ever, flown to a GA airport that had t-hangars available for rent or sale. I'm sure they're out there, but I've never seen one.

Tie-downs, sure, but hangars are hard to get.

You should check out Montana some time.
 
I've flown into ingleside TFP once but I'm not sure of their parking situation. Real nice people though
