Id see those C-117s, C-140s, and C-45s getting painted in a yard just outside the fence of DMA. They finally moved them across Valencia to the museum for the display.
The boneyard itself is rapidly sending planes to the scrapper, where the used to keep them around for awhile. Latest ones going to scrap is one of two remaining McDonnell Douglas YC-15s in the world, the other one being on display at KEDW after being reactivated by Boeing for flight tests, but getting damaged. Lots of T-37s, many of the remaining F-4s, all of the remaining C-141s and F-111s (Australia doesn't need them anymore) are all getting towed out to have the big blade put through them.
