If you want teterboro I'll give you 95% chance you'll get it out of training. I can't really say that about any other base. The runs are pretty good out of there....no one wants to live there though.Hey Starcheckers! Ive really been considering Airnet. I've talked to a guy there and said to call back when I got my multi a few months ago. Right now I'm at 1050TT; 35ME (30ME PIC); 72 instrument (22 in a sim); 495 hrs of the point to point; 165 night.
What are the chances of a guy like me from New York City to get a base like Teterboro?
Also, I'm confused as to the whole minimum and maximum rig rate there.
Thanks in advance!
STP not likely anytime soon.what are the chances of getting KSTP as a base?
i have known about AirNet for 4 years now, and am just waiting to get over the 1000hr mark, 7/hr for SIC pay won't pay the bills
thats ok, i don't meet the time i would like to have when i apply (1100TT, currently 700TT)STP not likely anytime soon.
It's all luck of the draw. TEB and BDL however are always junior for the most part.

how long are you usually at one of those "junior" bases?
thanks. hopefully within the next 10 months i will be there, hopefully soonerMovement tends to be quick. Some people stay for a few months. On the other end, I had a friend get awarded a junior base and fly one trip outa there and get awarded another base with the same equipment within a week.
I understand where youre coming from but if he was fine single pilot in the baron, completly competent, been doing it for several months, it just doesnt make sense to me for the them to completly cut him loose and have to find another guy who may or may not cut it in training for a baron run. Letting him go after failing a Van checkride says nothing about his single pilot IFR flying in the baron. That is assuming all the above and I proly dont know the whole story.
He got into training at USA jet for right seat in a Falcon. I guess if thats their policy. New guys going there for training remember that.
Period. Not sure what you're wanting here, but seriously, that's stupid if you think somebody should get more than 2 chances for a Van checkride of all things.
I'm sure he feels more comfortable being in the right seat, if he was having trouble with the Van. Seriously, it's a 172 on 'Roids.
