Airlineapps employment history question

JordanD

Here so I don’t get fined
In the process of filling out airline apps, does anyone know if they want EVERY job in the last 10 years, or just flying jobs? It looks like "aircraft flown" is a required field but obviously my 10 year employment history isn't all flying. And are they really going to care that I pumped fuel for 6 months 6 years ago? (I know, it's probably more for background check purposes)

To answer your questions in order... Yes, and yes.

I somehow missed a month in my history when I filled it out (like ended 10/11, started next job 12/11) and when i showed up for interview they had me fill out an addendum sheet with an explanation of the gap and who I could use as a reference to verify it.

EVERYTHING needs to be in there.... like, every... thing. I used school as my "employment history" for about the first 3 of the 10 years, even though I was working in college. Saved me the hassle of having to explain those jobs at least.

4 month gap to go to europe and backpack, that was a fun one to try and explain.

Employment history is your ENTIRE employment history, ie every job you've ever had, not just the last 10 years.

I should have been a little more specific, I'm talking about the actual airlineapps.com website. "Average flight hours per month" doesn't really apply to half the jobs I've had in my 10 year history, it just seems strange they wouldn't want EVERY job so it's a little confusing.

N/A works just as well if you were flying a desk/something not an airplane, which is where most of my adult life has been spent.

List every job you ever had. Delta wants to know everything you have accomplished since high school. There can be zero timeline gaps on your application. Attention to detail is so important on your app since a recruiter will score it. It is a reflection of who you are as an applicant. Your job is to make the recruiters job as simple as possible.
