Airline Domiciles

If you take a look on pilotjobs.com there is a tool that shows you airline domiciles and highlights them on a map. Unfortunately you won't be able to search by DFW but can select any carriers and see if they are there.

Hmmm, cool but what is the difference between a legacy and a major airline?

I didn't realize skywest and AE were majors?

And now that I look closer, AWAC doesn't fly out of DEN anymore.

And those east coast biased people who made this thing forgot about Frontier :(

Pretty cool feature but I think if it is going to be accurate it needs daily updates considering how fast things change.

Yeah, I know the difference between a Major and a National, but I didn't know the DOT refers to these airlines as Legacies?

I think the DOT refers to them as Global airlines. I don't know the exact definition, but I think part of it is that they have to have at least $1B in international revenue
