Airmart, Inc. Lexington, Kentucky:
While there are a variety of assignments and duties the AirMart Inventory Manager will perform, the primary role of the Aircraft Inventory Manager is to manage and maintain the aircraft in AirMart’s care, custody and control.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Facilities/Mechanic Duties
  • Be on time.
  • Assess the day’s needs with a professional, upbeat attitude.
  • Have a thorough working knowledge of the aircraft in
  • AirMart’s care, custody and control.
  • Take initiative to complete tasks with minimal supervision.
  • Maintain a clean, organized hangar and workspace.
  • Maintain the currency of annual inspections and IFR certifications of all aircraft in AirMart’s care custody and control.
  • Act as liaison with Mustang Aviation (and other service centers) to ensure AirMart’s closing time frames for aircraft under contract.
  • Act as liaison with Mustang Aviation (and other service centers) on other AirMart maintenance projects.
  • Assess newly acquired aircraft upon arrival for salesworthiness.
  • Create punch list of repairs/improvements to review with management and assign or complete tasks in timely manner.
  • Complete minor painting on AAH and AirMart Inc. aircraft asnecessary.
  • Complete minor maintenance on AAH and AirMart Inc. aircraft as necessary.
  • Maintain MSDS sheets for all chemicals.
  • Direct management of Hangar Assistant (currently Hunter Kidwell) and assign daily duties.
  • Oversee management of hangar facilities, as well as aircraft-related supplies, parts, equipment.
  • Oversee compliance of aircraft to be picked up. (i.e. annuals, confirm airworthiness.)
  • Coordinate pre purchase inspections for pending acquisitions. (i.e. Locate facilities to complete inspections. Send reports for inspections. Prepare lists of items to be repaired.)
  • Know where all aircraft in AirMart’s care, custody and control are at all times.
  • Complete all tasks as assigned by management.
Flying Duties
  • Demonstrate aircraft as needed by sales managers.
  • Pickup and/or deliver aircraft as necessary.
  • Test fly aircraft as necessary.
