SALARY RANGE: 77,670.00 - 100,976.00 USD per year

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED:
Basic requirements for this position:

1. A current Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) Commercial Pilot Certification with instrument ratings. Other certificates that meet or exceed the requirements of the Commercial Pilot Certificate are also acceptable (e.g., an Airline Transport Pilot Certificate).

2. A current FAA Certified Flight Instructor Certificate. Equivalent U.S. military Flight Instructor ratings may be substituted.

3. A current FAA Class I Medical Certificate for initial entry or re-entry into the occupation. A current Class II Medical Certificate is acceptable for applicants who currently occupy Customs and Border Protection Air Interdiction Agent positions.

4. A documented log reflecting a minimum of 1500 hours total flight time (100 hours of airplane and/or helicopter within the last 12 months), 75 hours instrument, 10 of which must have been in actual instrument flight conditions, 75 hours night, and 250 hours pilot-in-command.

NOTE: Up to 50% of the 1500 hour total flight requirement may be waived upon verification of prior specialized skills and experiences (e.g., general military flight experience and training, complex aircraft flight instructor experience, multi-engine aircraft time, night vision device operations, imminent danger, and terrain and/or over-water operations.)

5. Instructor Flight Hours: 500 instructor flight hours, 75 of which must have been as an instrument instructor in either airplanes or helicopters.

Selective Placement Factor: This position requires expert knowledge and experience as a helicopter flight instructor.

This is a HELO Flight instructor position..., damn! I would have been all over this! Oh well.., back to my CFI job search...,
