Aircraft Carrier pics

I got to do one of these cruises on the John F. Kennedy while it was based at Mayport NAS. It was one of the coolest things I've ever experienced. We had 2 f-14s and 2 f-18s fly out that day. If you ever get a chance to do this do it!!!

moderincarus. You are correct. The picture you speak of was taken August 06. There were three other carriers other that CVN-71 which I was on. Some of the other pictures were taken in 07 and this past summer. I'm planning to post more plus some video when I can.

P.S. My Navy buddy told me about the fire. $70,000,000.00 damage value.

The Commanding Officer was relieved from his command due to mistakes made before and during the fire, as soon as they reached San Diego.
