The SME will support C2 mission planning, test development, testing, scenario development and event execution. Additionally, the SME will assist with the management and administration of supporting systems ensuring there functionality prior each event.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesReasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.<ul><li>Brings credible expertise to C2 mission areas for white force integration, operation of high-side environment generators, and operations of live, virtual, constructive (LVC) systems identified in the government directions document. The individual will support and participate in scenario review to ensure desired exercise learning objectives are achievable. It is desirable for the SME to be conversant with Air Operations Center activities.</li><li>Plays key role in exercise development and scenario generation for weapon systems, integrating C2 into all operations</li><li>Coordinates with mission SMEs for force generation deconfliction and scenario packaging requirements</li><li>Supports and assists with the management and development of exercise documents ranging from: Air Tasking Orders, Air Coordination Orders, coordination cards, communication cards, Master Scenario Event List (MSEL), SPINS, aircraft SCLS, etc.</li><li>Responsible for supporting the development and integration of new Missions and Systems capabilities by defining technical requirements, writing requirement documents, reviewing design specifications, writing acceptance test plans, and executing acceptance tests </li><li>Responsible for determining C2 scenario training requirements and designing vignettes to support C2 training operations</li><li>Serves as the DMOCu2019s Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Airborne C2</li><li>Preferred platforms: E-3, E-2, P-8 or CRC SME for major theater level Distributed Mission Operations in a Live, Virtual and Constructive synthetic environment</li><li>Serves as lead for Airborne scenario development, technical solutions sets and integration across other mission threads</li><li>Provides liaison functions between command-and-control Teams and the 705 CTS Exercise Directors for appropriate hosting within the battlespace and throughout the exercise development and execution process</li><li>Provides technical interchange between operational warfighter training requirements and technical solutions for the Distributed Mission Operations Center.</li><li>Facilitates coordination between government, engineering and operational personnel, ensuring proper requirements are communicated, designed and implemented within contract specification</li><li>Maintains technical relevance within their area of expertise, supports multiple mission sets</li><li>Ensure a safe and secure work environment maintained</li></ul>Qualifications and Education Requirements<ul><li>Bacheloru2019s Degree and 5+ years relevant operational experience or related experience </li></ul>Or equivalent combination of education and related operational experience<ul><li>Military service experience conducting C2ISR mission skill sets</li><li>Must be able to obtain a U.S. u201CSecretu201D security clearance</li><li>Must possess a dynamic and flexible understanding of problem solving</li><li>Must be comfortable with a flexible work schedule often required during mission execution periods</li><li>Must be comfortable with briefing</li><li>Due to U.S. Government contract requirements, only U.S. citizens are eligible for this role. </li></ul>Preferred Skills<ul><li>Comprehensive understanding of the Department of Defenseu2019s requirements for DMO within current military operations</li><li>DMO experience working with Live, Virtual, and Constructive (LVC) assets</li><li>Conversant with computer generated forces, the build process and environment generators </li></ul>Language Skills<ul><li>Must have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents.</li></ul>Reasoning ability<ul><li>Must be able to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.</li><li>An ability to interpret complex customer requirements and attitudes from verbal, non-verbal, and written communication is desirable.</li></ul>Security ResponsibilitiesMust complyu202Fwith all company security and data protection / usage policies and procedures.u202F Personally responsible for proper marking and handling of all information and materials, in any form.
