(Air Wisconsin)

[/ QUOTE ]That would be Air Whisky. And that's about all I know about them, except that that's where a lot of the CFIs from around these parts go for their first job.

I've heard it calle Air Willie too.

Good place, good pay. I have a couple of friends over there and they like it. The situation with United is a cause for concern, but I would definitely apply.

Great company. You'll be treated well and work for a professional organization that puts quality ahead of CEO bonuses.

Long time to upgrade, but these days ... who cares. You'll enjoy it.

Probably ALOT longer than it used to be since United is replacing them.

And GoJet, the new offshoot of Trans States (ala Freedumb) that leaves all the TSA pilots behind. Gotta love airline CEOs.

Bog, that joke ain't even funny. You are kidding, aren't ya?

Doug,

I´m afraid he´s not. GoJets is supposedly a non-union off-shoot of TSA (aka Freedom). Let the fun begin again.

Yeup. The TSA pilots tried to talk to their management team about flying the planes but to no avail. The only way a TSA pilot can go to GoJet is to start over at year 1 (as I've been told). Add that to the fact that Airways is taking the codeshare business in a new, nasty direction (you pay us $125 million and you can wear our paint scheme) ... and I'd say Home Depot looks better every day.

Please don't laugh at me but I was actually turned down for a job at Home Depot - actually I wasn't even given an interview - they said they felt I was over qualified and wouldn't stay long........my dreams of buying power tools at a discount was snuffed out just like that!

Go Jets is the new "Freedom" Airline. I guess, it work well for Mesa...

A word to the wise, it may be tempting but it is not a job for the future. Say goodbye to the jumpseat and future employment as the list of pilots (pseudo-scabs) is published. The list of the orginal Freedom guys is still out there and the memories are long. There are plenty of other jobs out there, stay instructing or whatever till one comes along. Good luck.

Stop worrying about quick upgrades, too. The days of that being important are gone and will be gone for many years. Find a place with good QOL.
