SUMMARY:
An Air Transportation Ground Instructor (ATGI) has the appropriate knowledge, experience, training and demonstrated ability to instruct crewmembers in ground-based curriculum segments. The ATGI may certify the satisfactory completion of ground-based curriculum segments by flight crewmembers.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBLITIES:
•Conduct Initial/Recurrent/Transition/Upgrade/Requalification ground training required by CFR 49 Part 135.343, 135.345 and 135.351
•Provide instruction based on the Cape Air philosophy of “Kindness, Teamwork and Respect”
•Provide assistance on special projects assigned by the Fleet Manager
•Ability to travel to all regions to conduct training functions
•Complete all applicable paperwork in a timely and accurate fashion
•Conduct simulator, ground and flight instruction in accordance with the Hyannis Air Service training manual
•Work closely with HR & Pilot Recruiter to assist in recruiting and interviewing for new hire pilots as needed
•Attend industry and collegiate trade shows as needed
•Additional duties as assigned
