Facilitate in-person instruction on basic ATC knowledge and technical skills in accordance with FAA, Air Force, and supplemental regulations. Familiarity with managing the ADACEL simulator-training courseware. Capable of working independently, and as a team member to solve&#8239;technical&#8239;problems within a fast-paced and dynamic development environment. &nbsp;ATC technical school instructor experience is highly preferred.&#8239;</div><div>&nbsp;</div>Essential Duties and Responsibilities<br />Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.<br /><ul><li>Instruct 1Z2X1 (combat control) students through assigned blocks of technical training at basic air traffic control performance levels via classroom and practical simulator training.</li><li>Act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for Air Traffic Control course materials to help ensure students meet career field training requirements Plan, develop, execute, and evaluate a comprehensive and effective training program.</li><li>Maintain professional and technical proficiency and accomplish special projects related to a specialty area, to include staff surveillance visits to various training activities.</li><li>Achieve and maintain CCAF-Instructor Qualification status.</li><li>Coordinate with Special Warfare Training Squadron to ensure course meets the needs of Combat Control students.</li><li>Prepare curriculum and course material maintenance in compliance with the Special Warfare ATC course. </li></ul>
