Air Taxi Service

little pricey for a sr22 dont ya think? especially since they've been falling out of the sky lately.

Just heard an ad on the radio this morning on my way into work for this air taxi service:

First time I have heard an ad on the radio for anything like this in the Chicago area.

We hanger them and do their MX. It's actually a fairly busy company considering the cost.

Look up N191BS N192BS they have a lot of flights

Nice SR22's also!

There has got to be a lot of pressure on those pilots when it costs that much. I'm sure they probably take risks some times to stay on schedule. I don't know about you, but I don't want to some rich dude behind me telling me that I need to be on the ground at a certain time that meets his schedule.

Such is life in the world of charter flying. I don't think that extra risks are taken to stay on schedule (at least not with the company I work for). The vast majority of customers are very understanding of delays if they are weather or safety related. I just tell them straight and up until now I have not had a problem.

That's the only reason I have heard of them. I think DPApilot had flown in that one.

I loved that thing, first SR22 i ever flew, got a "That was tits" from the chief pilot, now were really good friends haha

In the video that motor sounds like it's got some balls! Less weed whacker-ish than a 172 for sure.
