"We have several options for you. Probably the best would be for you to join us at a salary of $31,000 your first year and we would give your CFI right away and your CFII at 400 hours of dual given. After 1 year we would then bump you to $40,000 or more.
The other option is for you to pay for your multi add on with us and then we can give you the CFI, CFII and MEI with a salary of $25,000 your first year."
I emailed and asked about come with only CSEL:Air Safety Flight Academy is a international leader in training commercial airline pilots. We are seeking 20 additional highly-motivated flight instructors to instruct professional flight students. Our CFIs average 100-120 hours per month of flight time. Our students and instructors train on some the most technically advanced equipment in the world including our glass equipped Cirrus SR-20 aircraft and our Advanced Aviation Training Devices (AATDs) with wrap-around visuals and glass cockpits.
The Commercial Pilot certificate is required. The CFI, CFII and MEI are preferred but not required. For those who hold a Commercial Pilot Certificate but do not yet hold a CFI Certificate, the CFI, CFII, and MEI can all be obtained free of charge for those willing to take a reduced salary during their first year. For those who hold only a CFI Certificate, the CFII and MEI can also be obtained free of charge for those also willing to take a reduced salary during their first year.
Flight Instructor Compensation
Compensation for our flight instructors is one of the highest in the country. Flight instructors are paid a starting salary of $40,000 per year. Increases in salary are realized through additional flight experience and additional responsibility. In addition to great pay and benefits, an abundance of Multi-Engine hours are available to all MEIs. Excellent advancement opportunities are available for any career flight instructor. In addition, as an added benefit, we do not ask or require our CFIs to commit to work for Air Safety for any minimum period of time. We would prefer our instructors to stay with us long term but realize in the aviation industry that some instructors want to move on and we support them on their endeavors.
