AirAsia X Quiet Zone


Shhhh…Introducing the new Quiet Zone for all of our AirAsia X flights, because
we know that sometimes all you need is some peace and quiet for a more pleasant
journey with us.

Quiet Zone will only be available for travel from February 2013.
However, you can pre-book your Quiet Zone seats now if you are booked
to travel on February 2013 onwards.

What is Quiet Zone?

• Quiet Zone is an exclusively reserved area between rows 7-14.

Located at the front of the aircraft, right after the Premium Seats.

Ambience with soft lighting.

At no extra cost, just your standard pick-a-seat fee of RM 35 for Economy and RM 110 for Hot Seats.
Who is eligible for Quiet Zone?

Quiet Zone is exclusively for guests age 12 and above.Please note that if you have a member of your group that is under 12 years old, the system will not allow you to select a seat in the Quiet Zone.

How to pick Quiet Zone seats?

1 Simply choose the pick-a-seat option during the booking process.
2 Ensure there are no infant or children under 12 years old travelling as they are not allowed entry in the Quiet Zone.
3 Pick a seat within the Quiet Zone area.

Seems like a decent marketing tactic to me and surprised it isn't an option on US airlines.

I remember someone commenting on a thread about disturbances in First Class and how people expect some level of peace up there.
