AFOQT Study Guides

Just Tryin' to Get Off the Ground
Has anyone taken the AFOQT recently? I am looking for a study guide and would appreciate some recommendations. The most common choices seem to be Barron’s or Arco, but I was wondering if one was better than the other?

Also, both publishers offer two different books – “Military Flight Aptitude Tests” and “Officer Candidate’s Tests.” Is one type more applicable for the AFOQT?

Thanks,

Clint

I took it about three years ago and seem to remember Arco being the preferred one. I used it and did very well. I would go with the Military Flight Aptitude book but honestly can't remember if they're any different.

Thanks, mtrep.

I did a little more research and it seems like both books have thier fans and critics. It probably boils down to different people and different learning styles.

They are cheap enough on Amazon that I might just get both and see which I like better.
