A little Extra flight time!

Bonus: I had the pleasure of flying an Extra 300 yesterday. Man, that thing is a kick! Just a tad more sensitive on the controls than what I'm used to flying with a slightly higher thrust to weight ratio. Loops, rolls, hammerheads, spins (some inverted, some flat . . . some inverted AND flat!), cuban 8s, and more! I was mighty glad that there was somebody in the backseat who knew what they were doing.

After the adrenaline wore off, I felt like I'd just biked a hundred miles or so. I was most definitely reminded that I'm not accustomed to being upside down, loaded with positive and negative G's, or trying to maintain orientation while the world outside goes round and round and round and round and round . . .

Spin training in the PA-38 was a blast. Playing in the Extra was like a nuclear (nucular?

) explosion!

Rock on!
