A/C electrical reference?

Folks,

I'm jumping into the Cirrus world, and am discovering that I really don't know airplane electrical systems as well as I should. Any suggestions on books that explain electrical systems?

I've got the numbers from the POH memorized, but I'd like to know a little bit more about electrical systems in general.

There was a book we used in our systems and components class at Riddle that went well in depth on all light aircraft systems...I think Jeppesen published it. It was expensive that's all I remember...I ate for a month off what I sold it back for.

Glencoe publishes a book we use at GAVTC that might help, pretty dry reading though, "Basic Aircraft Electricity and Electronics". It's a $30 book that goes in to great detail. Just search GLENCOE on the net and you will find it.
 
A book I had from school was "Advanced Aircraft Systems" by David Lombardo. It's published by McGraw-Hill. It was a real good book...it focused on systems in some larger aircraft....king air, falcon, etc, but the electrical systems chapter was really good no matter what you're flying. Covers all the basics, from principles of electricity, to full electrical systems. Hope this helps!
 
the turbine pilot's flight manual has really good explanations of aircraft electrical systems...generally more complicated electrical systems found in turbine aircraft...but most of the concepts apply to simpler systems as well.
