Position Description
As 737 Technical Pilot, this person will report to the 737 Chief Technical Pilot and the Assistant Chief Pilot, Flight Technical and Safety. Provides flight operations, safety and technical support to Boeing internal and external customers. Maintains qualification as a Boeing Captain on at least one aircraft model. Provides information and specialized technical services to Company and customer flight crews to enhance flight operation efficiency. Consults with cross-functional teams during accident investigations and analysis. Researches and writes Boeing technical procedures. Documents and coordinates publication of procedures and techniques for operating Boeing airplanes. Represents The Boeing Company with regulatory agencies and at worldwide safety and flight operational forums. Supports sales campaigns by discussing and demonstrating aircraft and new flight technology. Serves as a consultant to management and other industry professionals. Job requires FAA Airline Transport Pilot license or international equivalent with the appropriate endorsements, FAA First Class medical certificate or international equivalent, and FAR Part 121 737 flying experience or international equivalent within the last five years. Job requires some international travel.
