It's that time of again as the year comes to a close, what was 2013 like for you guys?

Sadly I only flew about 6 hours MSP-LAS-MSP. But on the other hand I got to spend about 5 hours with the best group of people on the interwebs and share a few drinks....

690.7 hours; 711 cycles; 410 takeoffs/landings as PF. Includes 121 and 91 time. This'll be more like 730 hours and 750 cycles by the time the end of the year comes around.

327 hours so far with about 40 or so scheduled to go. I was on reserve from January until Oct 1st.

What are you guys using to create these charts of where you have flown?
I use the electronic logbook called Logbook Pro. Within that I export my logbook as a .CSV file, open that file in Excel and copy the column for flight route (eg. LAX-SFO). Paste that info here. BOOM!

Out of curiosity... Did you do some picking up, or is that normal at VA? Seems like a lot regardless....

I'm going to end the yearly total around 220 for 2013.

Picking up. If I leave my schedule as awarded, the normal at VA would be I'd get 70-76 hrs with about 17-19 days off. By adding additional trips, I usually put myself at 88 hrs (with premium pay = 90) and about 15 off in a 30 day month and 16 off in a 31 day month. For December, including incentive and holiday pay, I'm looking at 93.5 hrs with 16 off. I like high credit (90 hrs or more) and get the appropriate block to obtain it. I'm trying to make up for the couple years lack of RJ Captain pay ;)

This includes the 7ER to A330 transition? How many weeks was that?

That's January 1 to December 12 and reflects only the actual flight time. Not training time, deadhead, credit, etc.

The 330 IQ (initial qualification) course runs five weeks.
