Read it here. It's a mixed bag. Non-commercial fixed wing operations dropped from 10% from 08-09, but the accidents only went down by 5%. So it's a good news and bad news sort of thing.
Random parts I found interesting:
Descent and approach accidents are lower.
VFR-into-IMC is still a big weather-related killer (

Directional control during landing and airspeed control (e.g., airmanship) are big in landing accidents, too.
There hasn't been a fatal landing accident on a fixed wing student solo since 2001.
Maintenance/mechanical was at its most lethal since 2004.
