2 PSA FA's suspended

So I heard some PSA employees talking about a long complaint letter some girl posted online about PSA. Apparently she used to be on the survivor show and now 2 FA's are suspended over it. Anybody hear about this or have a link, I'm curious to read the letter to see what was so bad that 2 FA's got suspended over it.

No, Jerri was complaining about being mistreated as a passenger and how shes going to bash US Airways for the rest of her life. Not as exciting as I thought and it took way too long to read.

One [very big] reason I was glad to leave Eagle: No more having to ask people to leave their full-size wheeled carry-ons planeside. I hated dealing with gate check bags.

Personally, I LOVE gate checking my bag! I leave it planeside, I get it back planeside! No scrounging for bin space, no hassles. Just leave it planeside and a couple minutes wait at arrival and *shazaam* there it is for me upon arrival!

The not so whole story...

Apparently this lady got into an argument about carry on bags. It set a bad tone and it escalated later when she refused to put her laptop under the seat or in the overhead during taxi and takeoff. It culminated with her using a religious slur that offended one of the FAs.

The passenger was removed from the flight. Apparently she used some "do you know who I am speech" with the gate supervisors and got the name (and employee numbers AND badge numbers which are different at Airways) of the entire crew.

And then she posted her essay.

And yes, as of now both FAs are on Admin Leave and I wouldn't be surprised if they get terminated, although I'd hope AFA could get them their jobs back.

So a reality TV star commits a federal offense by refusing to comply with crewmember instructions, writes a nastygram, and the FA's get suspended? Seriously?

One small detail I haven’t shared is that I am a rather well-known television personality from “Survivor.” People know who I am. Because of this and the fact that everyone recognized me, I was even MORE devastated and embarrassed than your average non-recognized person. I was HUMILIATED...

I'm sorry, was this also broadcast on Faux-News? If it wasn't, the terrorists win.

She finally decided to acknowledge me and made me talk to the pilot (Capt. [Redacted]). I explained to him the situation and pointed out that even his briefcase was much bigger than my piece
Aaaaaaaaaaaahahaha

Man I hate some people

EDIT: Still reading,
I then said under my breath, “Jesus Christ!”. She gasped in horror and threw my coat back at me. “You just took the Lord’s name in vain. Hold onto your jacket because you’re going need it when I have you removed from this plane”,

Man that f/a sounds like a nutbar.

I used to love gate side check in too until they lost my bag one time even with a crew tag on it. Needless to say I was pretty upset and not really sure how they could have lost it. So after I waited a while there I was told to go to baggage claim and it wasn't there either. Eventually it was found but who knows where it had went.

You know, when I first read her rant, I was like, uh, who the hell is she?

I STILL don't know, but that's because I don't give a rat's ass about some dumb twit being a washed up "reality" show "star."

I've never heard of this lady.

The story was over-dramatized and it sounds like she's trying to play her "celebrity" card.

I can't stand how even though people see everyone ahead of them leave their bag in the jetway, they somehow think that their gigantic 62 inch checked bag is special and is doing to defy the laws of physics and fit in the overhead of an RJ. Then they act all confused/pissed off when you tell them you have to take it. Or you get the funny guy... "You're not gonna BREAK it are you? HA, HA, HA!"

I wish I loaded cargo.

"Religious slur" that offended one of the FAs??

I think that people (ergo, that FA) need to thicken their skin significantly, especially if they are in a job in which they interact with the general public.

Exactly, there's always 3 sides to the story. Do I think for one second that this woman's portrayal of the incident is 100% accurate? Hellz no. I want to hear what the crew has to say too.

And "Well known celebrity"?! lol! :laff: She thinks pretty highly of herself doesn't she. I have never watched an episode of "Survivor", ever! So not only do I not know who she is, but I would not recognize her.

Sounds like she got her panties in a wad that she was asked to gate check her bag. Did the F/A over-react? Possibly, but again, I'm not hearing the other side. I would like to hear from the pilots too, how had the rest of the trip been working with this gal? Did she have an attitude? I want lots more information than what was in that rambling diatribe. And no, I didn't make it through the whole dissertation.

No kidding.

I don't know why this woman expects anyone to believe her. She's made a career out of being a "villian" on reality shows and posing in Playboy (thanks Wiki, I don't watch Survivor) but she expects the world to believe that she wasn't being obnoxious in this case?

I mean really, being a tool is how she's made her name.

I missed this the first time. Is she really arguing, with the CA, that her "carry-on" was smaller than the his flight case?
