2 die as plane crashes into Atlantic off St. Lucie Inlet
- The pilot of the doomed plane told the Miami Air Traffic Control Center that he was changing the plane’s course to avoid bad weather and lost communication shortly after that, according to Coast Guard officials.
- They found the remains of the two occupants of the plane among the field of debris floating in the ocean about 20 miles east of the St. Lucie Inlet, Coast Guard officials said.
