2-day MEI

I'm thinking about going into the 2-day MEI program at ATP. I have been reading the forums, but had some more questions.

How long do you think is necessary to study for the ride. IE, can it be done in a week (Schedule monday, leave the following monday).

I already have my CFI, and my CFII. I'm current with instructing (as that's my job) and instrument procedures. I haven't done multi procedures in awhile, but I understand them pretty well and I got my CMEL with very little time in the aircraft (~7 hours).

I do have the option to train in an Apache for 140 an hour locally, but I think it would be a lot easier to do this in one shot as I don't have a lot of free time.

The 2-day MEI is a 2-day program, you would arrive one day and have a checkride the next. The general sequence of the program is:

Day 1: Arrive 0800, paperwork, ground school, fly once
Day 2: Fly again, debrief, signoff, checkride

When you call for info they will mail you a Seminole training supplement. Know EVERYTHING in that book cold (I give a quiz at the start of ground school) and work some performance charts for practice. That's the majority of study required. There is no instrument work on the MEI, just VFR maneuvers and teaching. You need 15 hours multi PIC to take the MEI checkride, so have about 12 hours multi PIC when you show up for this program.
