We are a part 141 and part 61 flight school that</div>offers training for a variety of ratings from Private to ATP! Located at RDU, clients get real world experience flying out of Raleigh’s Class C airspace.<br /><div>FlightGest has been in operation since 2003 and trained thousands of pilots.</div><div> </div><div><strong>Responsibilities of the chief instructor would include the following:</strong></div><div> </div>·Manage all the instructor staff<br />·Oversee all 141 operations within the school<br />·Maintain continued training for 61 and 141students<br />·Coordinate all the instructor resources (including checklists, POH, manuals, etc.)<br />·Work with the DOM on maintenance scheduling<br />·Hold monthly meetings with all the staff<br />·Coordinate all the GPS updates for the aircraft<br />·Provide a culture of safety and professionalism<br />·Fly on all stage checks and on pre-checkride phases<br />·Help in hiring new staff<br />·Maintain annual currency checks with the FAA<br />·Help resolve internal issues that may arise with students or instructors<br />·Train new CFI applicants<br />·Coordinated with local FBO management and staff<br />·Other duties as necessary
