135 PIC or 121 FO

I hate my 135 gig. Never knowing where ill be, what time, how long will I be sitting, etc....... I was121, went 135 and regret it. It sucks. I was very spoiled at the airlines. No bags, no cleaning, coffee, door closed, able to read the paper, get up to use the lav, etc...

So the question is should I just grin and bare and get the very little pic time I do get. Or sit back in 121regional fo and wait till the majors are hiring again.

Run for the 121 job as quickly as you can. There is almost nothing worse than sharing a cockpit with a pilot that doesn't want to be there.

That's one thing I keep to myself, my feelings. You are right there is nothing worse that to be with a guy that hates being there. I've flown with pleanty when I was in the right seat and said don't wanna be him. So no one at my comp. knows about how I feel.
 
I'd go back to the 121 flying. You hate it now, you'll probablly hate it later on. Cut the ombilical cord and go back to 121 flying if you have the opportunity. I would take happiness over misery, even if you'll be right seat.

Curious, with your times, why did you go 135 from 121 anyway?

Miss the three stripes? Or not liking the possibility of breaking a nail at the 135 gig? :D

Doubt you were spoiled with pay at the airlines, but go where you're happy.
 
I'm "thinking" of doing the 121 thing as well. . . not knowing ones schedule, and cleaning the lav does get old! Also, for me, more flight time in the 121, which means later on, if I want to go back to 135 or 91 I will have better job security and be quailified for a job.
