1000TT Survey Gig

I'm not 100% sure they need pilots, but typically they hire in December and while they were looking for 1500TT I'm pretty sure their hard minimums were 1000TT. They offered solid pay and $200 a day for hotel, food and rental car (your operator would get that too). I'm not sure if everything's the same as it was last year, but they made me a really fair offer and seemed like great people to deal with. The company's based in the SLC area.

I am not sure if they are hiring right now but their website lists the following pilot requirements:

Mandatory Qualifications:

  • Commercial Pilot License
  • Current Instrument Rating
  • Complex and High Performance Endorsement
  • 600 hours total time
  • 2nd Class Medical
  • Experience flying in and around Class B airspace
  • Attention to detail
  • Must possess strong communication skills, both verbal and written, as well as excellent decision making and problem solving abilities
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, holidays and deployments lasting up to 3 weeks with minimal notice
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Previous survey flying experience
  • Experience in Cessna 206, 310 or Piper Aztec
  • Multi-Engine time

That's great that they dropped their minimums as it seemed like a much better gig than any of Pictometry's offerings based on pay. They offered me 40k salary and the per diem would've meant the pilot and operator each got their own hotel rooms and at nice places too. The managers I spoke to seemed like good people over the phone.
