it seems in the plane I fly it is 1.3 Vso does this vary depending on the plane?

Yeah approach speed is usually 1.3 Vso, thats why i was asking what 1.2 Vso is. I have heard this used for slow flight, but wondering what others have heard.

1.2Vs is used for min maneuver speeds during the takeoff phase, and so bank angle is normally limited to 15 degrees until you get up to 1.3Vs. Speeds such as V2 are often below 1.3, so in many aircraft your bank is limited to 15 degrees. Varies with the aircraft.
