Challenger 300 Turbulence Death - Prelim Released

I'm not sure who did your oral at OAI, but mine was pretty in-depth. I agree about Brown, I remember thinking "this is it?" I'm happy we no longer need to draw out each system. That was no fun.

    Arrival question

If the end point on the STAR doesn't have a heading, the technique where I work, at least on my fleet is to connect the approach. Pushing heading select isn't a difficult task if things change.

Today in History - Nine years ago

You mean you're discrediting the theory of 3 Russian hijackers? It's totally plausible, create a distraction in the lav, guy climbs into the E/E bay, plugs in his laptop and overrides the flight systems, while rendering the pilots input useless. /sarcasm tag The only thing that makes sense...

    CDOs/Standups

Looks like a normal morning turn for us. I also recognize the JCT software. We just swapped over to it, and everyone has been less than pleased. I'm sure once scheduling figures out how to use it, it'll be better than our old '90's software they used.

DIY Speed Mods for a Piper Warrior ?

This is a oxymoron. Speed and Cherokee/Warrior/Archer shouldn't be in the same sentence. The speed gain will be minimal with the fairings, wing root, aileron gap seals, we're talking 5-10kts. I wouldn't call this a DIY project either, you'll be drilling holes in fiber glass which you just paid...

    Bose QC35 not impressed

Telex 8+ UPDATE: I'm going back to my Telex 850. The 8+ has better audio, ANR and cord, but the deciding factor is the fit and cumbersome case in my flight bag.
