I’ve got a Spirit buddy who’s asked if I could write a LOR for him. Do letters help any? He’s a 13 year LCP with plenty of experience.

Log into The Pilots Record Database (PRD) especially Spirit Guys. Sign in or create a login, REVIEW EVERY TAB FOR ACCURACY! When PRD was new Spirit was listing a lot of PIC training events as SIC. If there is something that isn't accurate submit for a correction. I don't know how long someone will be in the training office taking care of records, so the sooner the better to review this information before it's too late.

It covers a bunch of positions Ops, MX, pilots, and instructors. The pilot application window is open through the 10th and by the looks of it exclusive to Spirit pilots. I know in CQ last month they said they were still on track to hire a little over 1000 new pilots this year. The check pilots I ran into had both been busy with OE for new hires and said a bunch of them have been from Spirit and they have all been great.
