Layover food

Nasi Rames at a Surinamese restaurant in AMS!

What is Uyghur food like? Very curious now that you mentioned it
I had a simple noodle dish with ground lamb and various vegetables/spices. Simple, but good. From what I remember by glancing over the menu, seemed like a fusion of Central Asian (hearty meats etc) and East Asian (noodles etc). I'd like to explore it more.....not aware of anywhere near me in Philly, but I do believe there are some spots in Flushing's Chinese neighborhood in NY.

Edit: I stand corrected....there is a spot way up in far NE Philly.

As someone who just spent time in Georgia, that food looks like the real deal. 10/10 would smash.

Last evening that we had in HKG we went and checked out Chaat, a one Micheline Star Indian Restaurant.
