Quit smoking pills..

Goonie

Never say die
I know I should quit cold turkey but I've tried and failed too many times. A buddy of mine got prescribed a pill and he swears by it.

I've heard that all anti-smoking pills are also anti-depressants, is this true?

If it is then its a big no-no on my record?? (for flying)

Wellbutrin is oft-prescribed as a stop smoking pill, marketed under a different name as an anti-depressant. But, chemically, it's still an a/d and the FAA says no-no.

Chantix was just recently re-banned by the FAA, too.

My Mom took Chantix and hated it. It worked, but she hated it. She is not a pansy, but she said it made her have anxiety and really weird, vivid dreams. She ended up not finishing the course of treatment but didn't restart smoking.
