Anyone else turn down a PEPC for a local interview?

Has anyone else NOT gotten their TOL from the Feb applicants? I think we all interviewed around the same time (3rd week in July)...

I think I'll just feel less stressed about it if I know I'm not the only one who hasn't gotten it...

I'm starting to panic, and I shouldn't, I know, but suddenly I'm having visions of my interviewer lying to me that I passed and that he actually did not recommend me for hire, or that my paperwork was lost in one of those hurricanes....

Imagination... it's a biatch sometimes.

Chill out! :D
The interview is not your problem, the medical/background checks COULD be your problem. At least that's what I have seen on JC.

I haven't gotten any of the physicals or background checks yet... isn't that the paperwork that comes with the TOL?

And Ops252- I feel better knowing you haven't gotten yours either- I'm not alone, and now I can rest easy. Thanks. :)

Awaiting referrals for PubNat2 and curious how many times you might have to interact physically with someone stateside if you go the Non-PEPC local interview route. I live overseas and closest interview location would be the pacific like Guam or Honolulu at $1500 a pop for airline tickets. Worried I might not be able to make it for a specific PEPC due to timing issues. From signatures it's looking like at least 3 seperate trips for Interview, Medical/Drug and Psych...Is that correct?

Going Non PEPC most everything is done seperately as you indicated. I would recommend you pick a PEPC and just get it all over with if this is something you really want to do.

If you do a PEPC it's only one trip. The Interview, TOL, Medical, Psych, Drug, SF85/86 Background launch is all done in the same day at the same location... takes between 4-6 hours on average, unless you're pee shy.

Now, addressing your timing issue... for PUBNAT1 they let us know end of June the three PEPC options we had. I chose the last one mid August as I knew I would be able to work around the date since it was far enough out and I had not had anything significant planned. So, I would recommend you see what PEPC options were open to you and pick one and not commit to anything that would interfere with the timing, although you'd have to probably make sure your scheduled flight arrived 24 prior to account for any of the many delays that you may have.

In closing, Nosey time... where are you?

Got an e-mail saying they couldn't send me my TOL until they get my official transcripts. I had those sent 6 months ago! Arrgh. Gotta wait till the new ones come in the mail.

Transcripts? Did i miss something

Im on the same boat as andyboettcher, did my interview on July 22, everything went well, but no TOL yet and its been over a month. Is there any way to find out whats going on at this point, an email, someone to ask? :banghead:

You don't have your interviewers contact number or POC number or email? I guess you could start calling the Aviation Careers Divisoin.

May just be a CTI thing. I was in your boat until I got the transcript e-mail. My guess is they're really backed up.

It is all about being proactive. I heard about this rumor, so I called my poc and asked....problem solved

I got in touch with some people and i just got an email saying i've been redirected from SMO to CMA and should be receiving some information from AMH very soon:nana2:

Had my MMPI2 yesterday! Talk about some weird questions. Now I wait some more until I hear about my test results. Hope all goes well and I get that elusive FOL.:p

I just got my tentative offer letter. Have completed the background check paperwork. It only took two weeks from my interview to TOL. Plan on getting stuff done as fast as possible.

I got an email saying I was on a list to receive a TOL, but they were backlogged and it sounded like they needed help sorting which paperwork goes to which applicant, since they had me reply with I do not have military experience, or I do have military experience.

I feel better knowing I am getting one, but irritated that everyone else has theirs already, which means they are getting their physicals done and will likely get to OKC before me.

Still waiting on medical and security clearances...:banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

Anyone know about how long it takes for these? It has been going on 6 weeks now for both. Again I say :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:

I had a Top Secret clearance in the military, so what is taking so long? And also, my rep isn't helpful at all. All she says to me (e-mail or phone) is, "Nope, I got nothin. I'll let you know when I do."

As far as the medical stuff, you take a 2nd class exam, but I have a current 1st class medical. Maybe I am missing out on a whole lot, but WTF?!?!

I hope someone else sees my point here.

One more for the road :banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead::banghead:
