This is my take, I like my company, my management team hasn't done anything to really screw me over, and I trust that they will do a good job when times start to get tough. Does that mean I will trust them enough to not have a binding contract and backing of a union? Hell No!! But I suppose Sky West is the exception and is the only airline that doesn't need a union because you have saints over there in management that would never screw the pilot group over...
The golden question to you SkyWest guys is if your management is so great and they treat you so well then how come they are so against a union? Because the smart management folks over there know that if the poo hits the fan they have a free get out of jail free card and can screw you pilots any way they would like. I really want to get some of the stuff they are feeding you guys over there.
