Delta 787 Rumor

Boy, I'd sure hate to be there when you get the news that DL is closing their MEM hub! I see CVG going as well, so we'll all have to commute or move.:banghead: They're building two new terminals at ATL with one being specifically for RJ's which will be out by the new runway. That would allow Delta to re-install jetways at the C and D terminals where DCI carriers park now.

Two things are leaving Cincinnati , Chad Johnson and 80% of Delta .:D

We'll even take ole Chad up at BNA!

First, why should CMR guys be stapled? They're owned by an airline, and should have been merged on the seniority list when bought. That goes for ExpressJet -nee` Britt, Eagle, Henson/Jetstream/Penn Central, ASA and prolly someone else I forgot.

Had a captain suggest that Delta might buy ASA back and staple us to the bottom like that so that we'd be furlough fodder. We laughed and wondered how many of our pilots would believe it if we started that rumor. Yikes!

Ha!

Captain who? The one that hangs out with Tanneal? :)

11,000.

I did that flight a few times. Great layover! Flight was full too.

AA used to take 727s between ORD and MSN.

When Dad came back from his tour in Vietnam (Thailand (Ubon) actually) he flew into MSN on NWA (either a DC-9 or 727, I forget which). He remembers being in uniform (AF) and talking to the CA before leaving for MSN (the CA was former Navy). The CA told Dad "we'll get you home tonight". Mom was waiting at the airport, it was foggy as hell. Every other arrival into the field diverted and didn't land. Dad's flight landed. He said he didn't see anything until they were on the ground. An interesting ride, that's for sure, but he appreciated the guys' help in getting home that night.
