my vote is for rhombus, but id put in a half vote for mama marias.

sanders is snooty and overhyped in my opinion.

Quick side note--did I just see you at Wal-Mart around 5:00? I was leaving and drove by a BMW at the end of the lot. I was in the gold Cougar.
 
FYI, Sanders has a great late night menu and excellent wine list ("Jason stop being such a Californian wine snob," says Angel...just kidding Angel, you're just as much of a wine snob as I am hahaha). I miss Sanders!

indeed that would have been me! even for a beat up old bimmer i cant stand parking anywhere near the random hoards of stray carts....

LOL. I would consider it if I wasn't just up there a couple weeks ago. Several JC members and I were up watching hockey. Getting there wasn't too bad but jumpseating back was a nightmare (got bumped on several flights by tons of Mesaba and Pinnacle guys and ended up renting a car with Snickersnwa and 2 Skywest pilots to drive down to Fargo to get out of there). Good times.

Haha! And miss the chance to go through additional screening by the Grand Forks TSA IN FULL UNIFORM again!?!? I say let's go! :rolleyes:

Is jumpseating out of here usually that much of a nightmare or was it related to that weekend only...?
 
Okay, I MIGHT be able to jumpseat up there, depending on when I get off from the trip that has yet to be assigned to me while on reserve. I hold a build-up line with only 2 days of reserve this month, but unfortunately those reserve days end on the day of this M&G.

I honestly can't say because it was my first time jumpseating through GFK. But it seems like a lot of other pilots had the same idea as us that weekend. And all the Pinnacle and Mesaba guys of course had priority over us. Another thing - on Sundays only CRJs and Saabs fly the route. If there was a 9 on Sundays it would help a lot.

It was fun waiting in MSP for the flight to GFK. The gate area was like one big UND aerospace reunion!
