The -9 is 2x3. How many pax it will hold depends on the model of DC-9.

The CRJ-900 is on pair with a DC-9-15 I believe, but don't quote me on that.

That is exactly right. The DC-9 is going to continue to take NWA well into the future as the Airbus fleet is retired one by one. Not sure what that thing in the background is.

For as much piss and vigour that velocipede feels towards jBlue, (whose facts are incorrect btw regarding the Jblue pay.) I don't get why you turn a blind eye to the giant Rjs. Do you feel they're good for the industry as a whole? (And JB/Skybus/etc are not what I'm arguing). Basically regional rates are stagnating while equipment size is growing.
