Colgan hiring into the Q400!

Yup, any day now people will be baggin' on guys for flying a STP and not flying some piston driven' beast.. :)

Don't let Airdale know about this. . .he may get too excited about flying a new plane that someone may jump down his throat again. . .

:sarcasm:

Just don't want someone to get too excited, and then get their happiness urinated on again.

It seems a number of us have to be careful what we get all happy about these days.

And Max, you don't have to worry about putting a Disclaimer. . .you never take sides. :)

That's pretty funny coming from you..

Wouldn't want someone to get pissed on while they having a good day..

Much less a bad one..

I'm pretty sure we already discussed what I said about Regions'. You, took it on a personal level. I apologized for making it "personal" in your eyes.

Never said it before, but I'm sure you're a great pilot. . .but the previous company you worked for didn't play by the rules, and well were. . .taken care of. Not your fault.

So, nevertheless, yup - It sucks to get pissed on - on a bad day, much less a good day.

the previous company you worked for didn't play by the rules, and well were. . .taken care of.

Here we go again.. People speaking above their "pay grade.."

Just curious, what happened with Regions? How did they not "play by the rules?"

Yup.. It does..

You're a pisser.. Which is what makes your previous statement comical to me..

And here we go again. . .another JC member giving off the impression that those in the lower levels of the career progression department are clueless, and are not allowed to provide any inputs in regards to anything. . .solely because of their perceived low amount of time in the industry.

But hey, I'll answer your question. . .

As I understand it, there were training issues that were not being addressed by the company. Pilots, going without recurrent training essentially. Which, obviously is a large enough infraction for the FAA to step in.

And surprisingly enough - Region's is seeking resumes. Maybe they are ready to start operating, in a safe fashion again. Perhaps it was merely a lack of personnel to take care of the required training. Hopefully for their sake, it's resolved. But - I'll concede, you'd know more about that than I.

Oh, you don't want to answer the "pointy" questions eh?

I guess that wouldn't have anything to do with you not having the foggiest notion of what it is you are speaking of, would it?

No actually. You edited your original post after I had replied to it. Now, I've replied to your edit.

There are areas those with zero time in the industry will be clueless..

On the issues you are speaking, you are very much so.. :)

solely because of their perceived low amount of time in the industry.

Perceived low time? :) The fact that you have ZERO time "in the industry" is not a perception, it's a fact...

Most of my issue with you has nothing to do with you being a low time self proclaimed "wizard".. It has to do with 95% of the fact that I don't like you and 5% of the fact that you speak on issues "in the industry" that you have no idea about..

Wow.. Shocker.. You have no idea what you are talking about.. :)

I'll concede, you'd know more about that than I.

A touch..
