info on the "small plane" freight companies

Marshall's right, that run is gone and it was in a Lear.

We've hired guys with 20 multi. And in 2008? We might be paying for all your ratings by that point...

how bout start hiring with 135 VFR mins? lol, Amflight is who i would really love to work for....I just hope i can survive instructing for another 600 hours. haha

kind of unrelated to the thread topic, but has Ameriflight ever furloughed pilots? I know they are very succesfull right now, but have they ever had tough years?

We furloughed for about a month after 9/11, but everybody was back real soon. That's the only time we've furloughed.

Are you under contract SIU? How many hours you got? You interested in something new?

I try to disguise myself so Paul doesn't think I work for Airnet that way I don't get yelled at. I'm going to start wearing a Signiture uniform.
I'm gonna come as a courier on monday! How about a Blue plate special with that bank work!

The onlt problem I see is that it seems that Ameriflight wants you to have a bunch of multi-time before they'll hire you.

I just got hired with Ameriflight a couple of months ago and I only had 59 hours of multi so I wouldn't let low multi time stop you from applying. If you meet 135 mins and have a good attitude in the interview and can demonstrate basic instrument skills on a simulator you should be OK. Good luck on whatever you decide.

You in the 99 or the Chieftain?

I want to fly for AMF on the Seattle, Omak, Grand Coulee, Moses Lake route. Thats what I do nearly everyday to get up to the 141 commercial time minimums!

Have you looked at the pay at Flight Express?

:)

I don't know Lloyd. I'd probably give you a run for your money brotha! I'm making a killing doing the TDY thing. I can even afford to buy steak and fine wine every once in a while.:sarcasm:

Thanks to me listening to mike jones and that paul wall that you sent me, I suddenly have in engraved in me to "grind and hustle".....and I really don't mind being home only 3 days out of month. A matter of fact, I don't even think of where I'm staying as home. Its only a place to rest my head until I leave heading out again.

Im gonna ask this hot curiour out in San Diego I think Ive been a freight dawg to long, but she is so fine yeah some steak and wine!

If anyone is close to AMF mins just get your app in now. And follow up with Joni. Two 99 slots will be opening up soon in BUR/ONT and it looks like movement just about everywhere.

Where does one go after working for a company like Fight Express, where they only have pistons? At least with Airnet, you can leave with Lear time, so you can get on with Netjets or someplace...

You don't need Lear time to get on with Netjets, you need turbine time.

We haven't had a guy NOT get the job at NetJets yet.
