What do you think?

Of course! Not much better then a Subaru :)

I think I'm going to buy my brother's S2000 in 2 years... seems to be the ongoing trend (buying brother's hand me down cars). I want an E36 M3, but if he sells it 40% off blue book like he did on my current car, I won't pass up the opportunity! It'd be a great autocrosser...and it's a REAL car (RWD :D)

I couldn't pass up an s2000 either. I don't know about DDing it though. I'd need two cars for sure I think. Borrowing friends cars/trucks all the time looks like it sucks. I've already told you, but I'll post it in here too. I'm gona see about aquiring one of these:

It's red, and probably needs a butt load of body work. It's sat on gravel for 8 years at least with a blown head gasket. Japanese car sitting on gravel for that long can't possibly be good. That's the make or break point. I'm crossing my fingers hoping the underbody and frame rails are intact. I haven't even talked to my dad about it yet, so I'm sure I'll get a call from him tommorrow if he reads this thread. :) We'll see though. I'm thinking the sale of the olds will pay for any restoration needed, including a new paint job. The only downside is that it has the 22R-E truck motor in it. While bullet proof, it's a DOG. The car should handle decently though. The last of the RWD celicas. Which is a shame. Booo toyota!

haha yeah it's a big oxymoron, but it comes stock on the Civic Si. Performance tires on a Civic EX is even more strange.

160HP engine + stiffer factory suspension + stiff front/rear sway bar + light weight car = pretty decent performance for a front-wheel drive econo-box :D

But I invite some of you to drive it, it handles pretty well and screams quickly through it's 8,250 RPM redline :rawk:...AngelFuree and UAL747 has taken it out for a spin a few times :D
I wanna drive it!!! AND check out the fancy deck you just put in it:nana2:

Is it time to remove the snow tires and tiny 14" black generic steel wheels and put the performance tires on? :D:rawk: ......or should I expect more snow? I should realize that if I do this, it WILL SNOW hard.

(I do deeply apologize in advance for starting another car thread :banghead:)

We should just make a sub forum for car stuff...

Last year i changed over to my summer tires on the 24th of this month so it should be anytime now i was thinking the same thing... but i know old man winter will probably throw another alberta clipper at us if i do... oh well

Your Yoko's are excellent in the rain btw i've got great grip in the MR2. i don't fear spinning out (as much) any more in the rain.

They are great in the rain.

Performance tires on a Civic? WTF?! :sarcasm:

(I guess I don't need them when driving on the edge in the California twisty roads...who cares about tire roll, deep tread depth, and bad rubber compound anyway :sarcasm:)

Hi Joe! :D
