Chautauqua pilots needed

Evening all. I just wanted to let everyone know that my company (Chautauqua Airlines) lowered the hiring mins down to 1000TT and 100ME recently. We are in need of pilots pretty badly so if anyone is interested and is in the ballpark for the time requirements, contact me and I'll take your resume directly to HR. There are some additional requirements if you want to fly the EMB-170 for our sister airlines. If interested, let me know.

This looks like the trend for many regionals right now. Too much flying and not enough pilots. Comair, CHQ, Mesa, Pinnacle, ASA, etc. are in bad need for pilots. A lot of this flying needs to go back to the majors, where it belongs. The other day I went from LGA to JAX, 2.5 hours of flying in an RJ. I'm not including the 1.5 hours of ground time waiting for takeoff from LGA. That's just not right.

How many people were on the plane?

How hard would it be to get the STL base? I am based there now with my current company and would like to stay.

The 700 or 900 would be a more comfortable ride.

Even comfier!:) I've seen DL routes fluctuate back and forth as far as ratio of mainline to regional coverage. There is usually 7 flights from CVG-JFK, on normal load days. Tuesday and Thursdays are reduced load days for CVG. It's a graveyard at the terminal on those days. One month it might be 4 flights mainline to 3 regional flights. The next month, the might be a 6 regional flights and one mainline flight.

Yeah, I guess that is a good point to having those SJWLR (Small Jets with Long Range) on property!

:D

On Tues and Thurs, DL will re-route and rebook passenger to cancel a small percentage of flights to allow for some a/c to have some downtime for MX. If you were to fly into CVG today you'd see a buch of Comair planes out at remote parking or over at our hangar. It allows MEL's to be worked off and allow for more time to fix larger issues that can't be workd on while the aircraft is flying lines all day. DL does the same in ATL

Unmentioned in this post the FO referal bonus the company is offering us to help find FO's... anyone can PM ME and I will help you out. The bonus is $500, if you get on I will give you either most of it or all of it.. depending on my mood at the time. You'll need the money :)
